Directions to Travis AFB from Sacramento Airport

  1. Depart Sacramento Airport and get on Interstate 5, South ( towards Sacramento), and drive 6 miles.
  2. At Rio Linda, turn off on to I 80, West, and go 5 miles towards West Sacramento.
  3. At West Sacramento, stay on I 80, West, and go 24 miles towards Fairfield.
  4. At Vacaville, stay on I 80 West and go 11 more miles towards Fairfield.
  5. When you get to Fairfield, turn off on to Air Base Pkwy and drive 5 miles East towards Travis AFB.
  6. Air Base Pkwy ends at Travis AFB's main gate .

 

Directions to Travis AFB from San Francisco International Airport

  1. Depart San Francisco Airport and get on entrance to Hwy. 101 for 1 mile, West, towards Burlingame.
  2. At Burlingame, turn off onto Hwy. 101 and go for 9 miles North towards Brisbane.
  3. At Brisbane, stay on Hwy. 101 for 3 miles North then
  4. Turn off onto I80 and go for 10 miles, East, towards San Francisco.
  5. At Emeryville stay on I80 for 2 miles, East, towards Sacramento.
  6. You'll pass Berkeley, stay on I80 for 5 miles, East, towards Sacramento.
  7. You'll pass Richmond, stay on I80 for 8 miles, East, towards Sacramento.
  8. At Pinole, stay on I80 for another 23 miles, East, towards Sacramento.
  9. You'll pass Vallejo, stay on I80 for 5 miles, East, towards Sacramento.
  10. As you enter Fairfield, stay on I80 for 2 more miles, East, towards Sacramento.
  11. Go past Travis Blvd. get in the right hand lane for 1 mile.
  12. Turn off on Air Base Pkwy and drive 5 miles, East, towards Travis AFB.
  13. Air Base Pkwy ends at Travis AFB's main gate .
