Located at the Travis Air Force Base Heritage Center a.k.a. Travis Air Museum
The Jimmy Doolittle Air and Space Museum Foundation, with its Education Museum Foundation, is registered as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to create a new dynamic museum complex that brings the best of the original Travis Air Museum to a newly designated and more accessible public site near the entrance of Travis Air Force Base. The new museum complex will utilize its historical, educational and technological resources to create programs preserving our aviation heritage for all ages that embraces California aviation, the U. S. Air Force and the legacy of Team Travis — Air Power: yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Located an hour from San Francisco or Sacramento, the Jimmy Doolittle Air & Space Museum (a.k.a. Travis Air Museum) has 35 aircraft on display, assorted indoor exhibits on military aviation, a gift shop and a picnic area.
